Gillett Commercial is a goal focused, client committed commercial real estate development and brokerage firm that is licensed in both California and Texas. It is owned and operated by Bucky Gillett and Kirstin Emershaw.  Gillett Commercial has the resourcefulness and flexibility to create customized plans and strategies for their clients within the various services that are offered.

Gillett Commercial was founded in 1997 in Costa Mesa, California by Bucky Gillett. Bucky had previously worked as an Industrial Broker at Bishop Hawk and Lee & Associates Companies and was Director of Industrial Properties Leasing for Transtar Commercial Real Estate. The original platform of the company was threefold, with the intent of focusing on industrial brokerage, property management, as well as investment and development opportunities.

 

Gillett Commercial expanded significantly with the addition of Kirstin Emershaw in 2009. Kirstin contributes her vast experience and knowledge of the entitlement and development business. Together they combine over 50 years of experience in the development, brokerage, and management of industrial and office properties.

In 2013 Gillett began creating partnerships for the acquisition and rehabilitation of industrial properties, and in 2016, the company expanded its reach to the DFW metroplex where it currently focuses on the development of industrial and office properties, as well as property management and consulting services.

Currently there are office locations in Southern California and North Texas. The California locations include the cities of Costa Mesa and City of Industry, which serve all of the Southern California commercial markets. The office in McKinney, Texas serves the DFW metroplex.
